Login to the ASU Research Data Repository

Published Dataverses, datasets, and files are accessible to the public and you don’t have to sign in to view them. However, if you will be submitting data from an ASU-affiliated project or contributing to an existing data collection or dataset, you will need an account.

Contributions to the ASU Research Data Repository are limited to ASU-affiliated projects and persons.

Follow these steps to set up an account and request the publication of your datasets.

This guide is a separate website from the ASU Research Data Repository, and the following steps refer to actions within the data repository platform. Keep the repository open in a separate window or tab and follow along.

You will only have access to view public Dataverse collections and download datasets. To become a submitter, select the Share Your Work button on the header to request a dataset submission. Once the Library team reviews your request, they will check for your account and will work with you to determine your permission level and establish the basic setup for you and your submission.

  7. If you have other contributors responsible for requiring editorial access to the datasets, please have them follow the login instructions, send us their names, and let us know their respective roles as either a co-pi, author, or technical contributor to the project.

  8. The share your work form is for initial publication submission requests. Additional requests such as adding contributors, adding metadata, file uploads and downloads, and other support questions should be submitted using the ‘support link’ in the top repository navigation bar or by going to “lib.asu.edu/research/contact”
