Submit a Dataset for Review to be Published

1. When you are ready to publish a dataset, you must first submit the dataset for review. Click the name of the dataset to open its landing page.

2. Click on the Publish Dataset button in the menu to the right of the dataset citation, and then click Submit for Review.

3. You will then see a message that your dataset is in review, and that you will not be able to modify it while it is being reviewed. The administrator of the parent dataverse has the option to publish the dataset, or to send it back to you to be modified.

4. If your dataset was returned for modification, you will receive an email notifying you, as well as a notification in the dashboard notifications in the ASU Library Research Data Repository. You can make the modifications and then resubmit for review.

5. If you dataset was accepted and published, you will receive an email as well as a notification in the ASU Library Research Data Repository that your dataset has been published successfully!
